Dataset Description

Dataset: Yeast Regulatory Map (OREGDS00010)
Description: Genome-wide location analysis (ChIP-chip) was used to determine the genomic occupancy of 203 Yeast DNA-binding transcriptional regulators in rich media conditions and for 84 of these regulators, in at least 1 of 12 other environmental conditions. These proteins are likely to represent nearly all the DNA-binding transcriptional regulators in the yeast genome. The genome-wide location analysis identified specific interactions between the regulators and the promoter regions they bind. These regions were further refined using a conservation and motif scanning techniques to identify a set of high confidence binding sites and create a preliminary transcriptional regulatory map for Saccharomyces.
