March 29th, 2006 Service advisory: Annotation mechanisms are not functional due to a critical bug introduced recently, full functionality should be restored ASAP. This bug was originally not detected through unit testing. We apologize for any inconvenience.

January 5th, 2006: ORegAnno manuscript now available through Bioinformatics Advance Access

December 19th, 2005: New version of ORegAnno released with eVOC: Cell line integrated within record evidence and a DAS server configured at http://www.bcgsc.ca:8080/oregano/das. This functionality is still being optimized for viewing with EnsEMBL.

November 22nd, 2005: The CVS server is made public from https://oreganno.dev.java.net/

November 21st, 2005: ORegAnno introduces a system for incorporating existing datasets and providing relevant citation, linkout information, and maintenance functionality. Read more about it in the help pages on "Datasets".

November 17th, 2005: ORegAnno introduces an automated mapping process which daily maps newly annotated records back to the genome. If available, each genomic mapping can be viewed in the UCSC browser or fetched using Web Services. Please read the help page on mapping for more information.
